dbl-clicking of html files always opens Safari even thought Firefox is installed.
This drove me crazy until I found this hint (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Setting_Your_Default_Browser)

Firefox must be in the Applications Folder and you use the Safari Preferences to
change the default browser application.
