How do I combine Sata and Ide drives on the same system

Hi all

I recently purchased a gygabyte 945 board.How do I configure my system so that I can use my 1*80gig sata drive with my 80 gig Ide drive?A bit new at this whole thing

In the bios enable SATA + PATA drives.
