AN INTERNAL MEMO from John Carmack, the creator of the Doom series of games, blames Canadian graphics company ATI for leaking the alpha of Doom III.
In a memo to his employees, leaked on the Internal Memos site, he said: "ATI is more likely to be responsible than ever before. 1 employee from the company has been fired & the situation has been taken care of."

Funnily enough, before the server problems today I was gonna post this news. I suppose great minds think alike.
Apparently an ATI employee has already been fired.

OUTCH! It sure would suck to lose your job like that....but he was foolish to go doing that sort of stuff.

I would say yes, warr. They generally don't post fake or joke news (save April 1st), just like most reputable sources :haha:
