Hi,
I have Intel 915GAV motherboard with P42.66Ghz processor. And I am running windows XP-Professional on it. But I am not able to play any music. The driver CD which came with the processor has failed to install audio drivers. Please let me know how to download the same. It has ALC860 High Definition Audio, built on it.

This page should give you all your downloads for that mobo:
http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df-external/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=1673&OSFullName=Windows*+XP+Professional&lang=eng&strOSs=44&submit=Go%21
Download the audio driver and also the audio tool under the software category. Just download the driver and run it, see what happens. If it doesn't do anything automatically, we'll go from there.
Also it may be a good idea to go in your CMOS setup and make sure the audio card isn't disabled in there. (get here by hitting DEL right on start of boot up, it may say something like "press del to enter setup")
good luck
