Hi,

I'm trying to get dosbox to communicate with a com port any ideas on how to do that.

I have booted up in MSDOS via a dos floppy disk and checked that the device is able to communicate.

Read the friendly DOSBox manual? You have to set a couple of things in the configuration file (and pray).

Preying never worked, i have edited the directserial in the conf file, still got no where.

Is there anyway you can test com port in dosbox, i know you can debug in dos and find this information out.

Maybe you should go over the baud etc settings in Device Manager?

This is a program (trialware) that monitors Windows serial ports. You can use this to capture any data sent and received through any Windows COM port. If DosBOX is sending something to serial ports then it has to go through the Windows serial driver and the data will be captured by this program.
