Should i use it or not

My computer has one 256 mb ddr pc 2700/ 400mhz bank and thats the one it's supposed to have ,but i have another on from my old computer ddr pc 2100/266 mhz should i use it?

if you use the other moduel then BOTH sticks will only run at 266 Mhz. since the ram will default to run at the speed of the slowest module.

I cant force the slower bank to run faster?
