Minidumps (Crashes)

I've been getting crashes lately. I'd REALLY appreciate any help.

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

I cannot be sure from just one minidump.

Your minidump crashes at you videocard driver. Try updating to the latest version.

I have already run 12 passes of the memtest without errors. I have tried installing many different versions of my video driver and they have all given me the same problem (including the one I have been using without errors for 3 years now).

Your minidumps are crashing with various bugchecks, and errors.

This is usually a sign of faulty ram, but can also be caused by other faulty hardware.

Some faulty ram can pass memtest86+. Try running your system with just one stick of ram, also try using a different dim slot.

Make sure your ram is compatible with your mobo.

Make sure that nothing is overclocked. Check your system temperatures, and make sure there is no dust, or debris inside your case.

Disconnect anything not required to run the system.

Check your mobo for bulging, or leaking capacitors. See HERE (http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=195) for further info.

Also check that your psu is putting out enough power for your system.

I isolated both of my sticks of RAM. Errors still occured. I also checked my motherboard for damaged capacitors and I didn't see any. Temperatures are fine. I haven't overclocked anything. There is a bit of dust inside of my case and I'll clean it out once I get some compressed air.

Any other suggestions are welcome.

Try this just in case your pagefile is corrupt.

Right click my computer, and select properties, and then the advanced tab.

Under performance, click settings. Click on the advanced tab, and then on the change button.

Click on the custom size button, and click in the initial size box and make the size of the page file 0. Click in the maximum size box, and make the size of the page file 0.

Click set.

Now reboot your machine. After your system has restarted run a defrag.

Once the defrag has finished, go back to the pagefile settings above, and click on the change button. For the initial, and maximum pagefile size make it 1.5 times the ammount of ram your have. I.E if you have 512mb of ram set the page file to 768mb.

Click on the set button again, and reboot your system. You now have a brand new page file.
