Hello, I recently purchased a laptop from frys electronics. I am having a hard time finding the normal bios drivers (i figure i will have more configuration options). The bios version i have now is what frys threw on there i guess.
The bios is AMI. I have searched their website. The laptop is running on the VIA chipset. Thanks.

It is the motherboard that the BIOS depends on. What you have to do is to find the real matherboard manufacturer and get the BIOS from them. Good luck :)
