Okay, so i'm going to make this video. In this video will be just picture slides playing as a video would changing from frame to frame like a cartoon except much slower of course. I want to add narration and voices to this movie...

I'm just looking for the software that will enable me to do these things. Create a picture slide that moves like a movie and will allow me to edit in voices later on.. All I have right now is a bunch of freeware converter tools and Windows movie maker. But, windows movie maker seems too basic to be able to do what I have in mind. I hope that I have included enough details so you have a good idea of what I want to do.

Now, My question is can you tell me where I can get such software that will enable to do what I've described. Freeware suggestions would be much welcomed... Thanks in advance.

If you want the output file to be in AVI format, then VirtualDub (http://www.virtualdub.org) is for you.

It can load image sequences, you can specify the frame rate and add your own audio.
