incorrect shutdown

hey i have an incorrect shutdown problem when in the in the shutdown processs my pc doesn't show "it is now safe to turn off pc" it just turns off itself does anayone know how to correct this

Thats what its supposed to do unless you have an older Win 98 computer that doesnt have ACPI. It doesnt hurt anything anyway.
