I am running windows me and recently had to restore my computer. Since then I try to plug in my usb connection to my mp3 player, it does not seem to recognize it and it does not appear in my computer to update the files. other devices, such as my DSL modem, will work in the same port. Any ideas?

Also, when i tried to put my mp3's to a cd and just transfer them to my player from my laptop(which my player works fine on) it wouldn't even recognize i had a blank cd in the drive to copy them to. It did recognize another cd rom i put in it.
