and will all of these fit inside this case ..if they wont can you suggest another see through case and if it dosnt come with neon fans , find some of thoes to put in it. I am looking forward to building the ultimate PC for gamming and doing what ever i want , and making it look cooler than any computer any of my friends have ever seen!!

Two things to gnaw on for you:

1. Get a higher quality PSU. That one you have is on the black list (see this thread here for which companies to buy from: http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=792566 )

2. If you are going to be getting an SLI board, why not get an Nvidia GPU. This way you at least have the option of doubling up on your cards in the future.

If you want that ATI card, then either get a good non-SLI board, or get yourself a good crossfire board (one of the two). Just makes more sense to me.

And another major point (almost missed it).

You are looking at a microATX case, and an ATX motherboard.

If you want that case, you must get a microATX motherboard or it won't fit.

I can tell this is going to one shiny system...literally. DonNagual is right, get an nVidia card if you're going to get an SLI board (7800GTX 512MB is good) or you can change your board to a Crossfire one and keep the x1800xt.

If you have access to wired LAN, use it, because wireless connections are not so great for gaming.

I would even go so far as to say, unless you are going to buy 2 high end GPUS right from the beginning, then don't bother with Crossfire/SLI boards.

For example, 6 months ago I bought the A8N-SLI deluxe with a 6800GT intending to upgrade to a second 6800GT in the future. Now it is upgrade time. I can get a second 6800GT for about $300 or get a 7800GT (which is BETTER THAN two 6800GTs) for $400.

I sold my 6800GT for $200 and bought a 7800GT for $400 costing me $200 total. Cheaper than it would have costed me to get a second 6800GT and my performance is better.

Long story short, don't get SLI/Crossfire as an upgrade option. Either get 2 high end GPUs right away, or get a single GPU based motherboard.

Hey, I don't think you are doing that bad! Just a few changes, and you are well on your way to a really nice system. Just keep posting and getting feedback, that is what this site is for.

Then that motherboard you are looking at will slide in it nicely. And it is a very nice motherboard. For the top of the line boards it is mid-level, but make no doubt it is a top of the line board. I say it is mid-level because there are faster boards out there. But what I like about that board is that it is extremely reliable and easy to work with.

Note that it has notchipset fan on it though, so your case will need good circulation to keep it cool.

the gpu should be a 7800GTX 512 MB wich out performce a x1800 there also coming out soon w/ a x1900 so at that amount of money i would wait or get the 7800GTX 512 MB as it is a SLI BOARD

my suggestion is to get an AMD X2 4400+ instead of the 4200. both are dual core and 2.2ghz but the 4400 has 2mb L2 Cache over the 4200's 1mb L2 Cache.

if u dont know cache is memory specifically for the processor.

I agree with the 2 gigs of Ram. Ram seems to go up every year and in two years 2 gigs of Ram should be standard. Back to the point, you must me doing some seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerious computing with what you posted as your potential future system!

You better be playing all the latest games out kid, not just to get 100fps in 1.6 cs while encoding a video, playing music, burning a cd, and running sysmark. Lmao, im jp, well yeah, you better play some good games with that killer rig!

2x 7800 gtx in sli are definately better than one gtx. but a 7800 gtx 512mb is the best

but when are u planning on buying all this stuff and putting that comp together? cause new graphics cards from both nvidia and ATI are suppose to be comming out in less a month. so i suggest u wait till atleast the middle of february to see what happens with these cards. I've heard that NVIDIA cards are better than ATI cards because some of ATI's drivers aren't that good for shading, also, most nvidia NVIDIA cards (especially when SLI'd) are faster than ATI cards...the driver part is just what I've heard though.

for all this stuff, your going to need a huge case for it to look right. I have a mid size case and man, it looks cluttered and my stuff isn't has high-tech
