Processes won't end

whiternoise 01-18-2006, 02:25 PM Hi, this seems like an odd problem to me. When i quit a program, often the process does not end eg. Using WORD, closed WORD, checked taskmanager and the process doesn't end, even when i click 'end process'. This is infuriating because i have to wait five minutes for my PC to shut down.
