First, I want to say that this is my DAD's Mac, I'm a loyal windows fan. With that off my chest: My dad has a powerbook G5 laptop. He was coming home from turkey today, and while on the plane, discover he couldn't save a 1MB file to the hard drive. Even though it showed 20GB left, it said the disk was full. Any ideas? Thanks.

Its not a G5 Powerbook. Its a G4. Anyway, in the applications folder then utilities there is a program called disk utility or something, its got a pretty obvious name - I just can't check because I'm at work and my Powerbook is at home.
Open that up and verify and repair disk permissions, there is another check you can do in there to that is basically like a scandisk for windows.
