I am about to reinstall windows on my mother's pc. It has two hard drives a 2.4 gig slave and a 30 gig master. The master was installed when I didn't know much about computers and so to get the full capacity recognized we had to send it out. The techs put ez-bios on it to make it work. What I need to know is whether or not ez-bios will be lost after a full format of both drives. Thanks for your help.

What motherboard is this? there are a couple of EZ bios programs that mobo makers have. if this is one of them then it can be reinstalled.

Is there somewhere in windows that i can find that information. I could take it apart and look but it's 3 hours into a 4 hour backup so I'd prefer the non-invasive method for now. I tried running belarc advisor but it failed to run. Probably too much for the system to handle right now. Thanks again for the help.

I opened it up and found three sets of numbers on it.

E139761 was silk screened on it

PSOR73701760

AND

182404 PB-SMT

The last two were on stickers right below the silkscreen

Thanks
