Noticed this a while back,

If i'm going through the new posts, and I get to page x where x is any of the pages, and i decide to add a gem of info,to get back to where i was i have to click back several times, to get back to the point before i clicked on the link of the post i decided to answer or i find that i have to click the new post link at the top of the page and then find which page i was on and then scroll though the list to get back to the point i was at.

Am I being dense or is there an easier way.

The way I do it, is to open whatever thread I`m interested in, in a new browser tab. Then, once I`m finished, I just close that particular tab.

Obviously, you need a browser that supports tabbed browsing such as Firefox.

Regards Howard :)

To quote a sig I saw, the most simple answers are usually the best.

I did try IE7 that had tabbed browsing, But I hated it.

I can always right click and choose "open in new window" but I never thought of that until your post...

As for Firefox, tried it, didn't like it either,

Cheers once again Howard for yet another simple fix.
