Outlook problems. cant send email.

Greetings,
I recently started to use outlook express. I have it set up for roadrunner accts. I can receive emails, but cannot send them. I have it set up exactly as a friend does on his 2 computers, so I am assuming it is right. I also tried to set it up for an aol screenname, using their exact set up instructions, and even then, I can only receive email, and not send. Any suggestions?

Most likely you outgoing mail server isn't set up right in settings.
