Okay i have my copy of Linux Suse and I want to install it, I have many partition s on my hardrive. I know during installation i can edit my partitions, but i would like to do it using Partion Magic in Windows.

What kind of partion do i create though?
Linux Ext2, Linux Ext3, Linux Swap?

you need ONE Swap partition and at least one EXT3 (this is the preferred).
Personally, and would create (shown as the mount point names):

one / (the root)
one /tmp
one /home

#1 is the system itself
#2 is the work area which will prevent / from filling-up (a big mistake)
#3 is your user(s) home directories

You might consider a #4 as /usr/local if you will be building software

Ok after a whole day of fiddling crashing and reinstalling i have some how got it installed. The problem is that its appearing in like dos mode.

The other thing is that it doesnt give me the option to boot into windows!!!. I know i havnt formatted my whole drive but i need the option in the bootloader to boot into windows.

re dos mode :: this is the command line interface. you need to enable/configure
the X11 graphics, eg KDE.

see this ref (http://www.freebsd.org/doc/handbook/x11.html)
