Someone sent me a .wdb file and I don't have Works.
Have Office 2003.
Can I convert the .wdb file to excel?
If so, how?
Thank you. J

It doesn't work when you choose File-Open in Excel and try to open the file? I believe Excel can open some versions of WDB..
Other than that, there are commercial WDB converter programs out there. Just google for "wdb convert".

No, that doesn't work.
I get "File format is not valid" message.
Renamed the file ".xls" but that didn't work, either.
This is a one time shot so I don't want to buy a new program.
Tried to open it in "open office.2" but didn't work. Maybe I didn't do it correctly. Does anyone know whether Works and Open Office are compatible? If so, how would I do this?
Thank you. J

Find someone with Works and ask them to convert that thing to some compatible format?
