is there any good video editing program which supports High Definition? and would it be in HD after burning onto dvd?

I have pinnacle studio 9.4 ad I love it
theres version 10 which has HD support yet I havent tried it
I'm curious what are your pc specs? :D

umm i have 1 gb of ram, 160gb of hard drive, ati x800 pro 256mb, and amd 64 3200+. yea i heard about that software but i wasnt sure how good it is. i knw that Sony has a its own software that support HD its called "Sony's Vegas Movie Studio "
but tahts too expensive its around 160

look at Sonic Solutions may have something
I have used (not to much) liquid 6 a pinnacle product
check with dvdlab pro see if the have a hd eng.
