Hi, I just installed oblivion..and for some reason the shadows form the light are really messed up.

Specs
x1800xt
e6300
1 gig ddr2 pc6400

Guessing its a driver problem?..Maybe need a patch?

Take a look at this patch HERE (http://elderscrolls.com/downloads/updates_patches.htm). Apparently one of the fixes is to do with shadows not lining up correctly. Check the patch release notes under bug fixes.

Patch and latest video driver fixed everything for me, as well as $1,000.00 in upgrades.

I reinstalled the drivers and the patch, and that solved the lighting problem..but now the tree's are glitchy. I guess i will have to try putting it on lower settings, but i figured this setup should run it on high..

If nothing else, drop the shadow complexity to a lower setting. If that's possible
