iriver plus wont rip my cds

ive been using iriver plus with my h10 for about a year now. and lately i havent been able to rip music from cds. i put the disk in, import track lists and stuff from gracenote, then hit the rip button, and it just puts "standby" next to all the tracks.

any help is much appreciated.
