help!

i cannot figure out what audio device driver this uses.

when i reinstalled system (win98) audio no longer worked.

cannot find driver (don't know which one it is?) on install disk.

anyone know which driver it might be?

The only audio driver I can find for your model is this one HERE (http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-download.pl?mdl=PCVRX450&upd_id=171&os_id=6). However, it`s meant for Windows 2000 not 98. In fact I can find no drivers on the sony site for your model that support Windows 98.

Here (http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=PCVRX450&UpdateType=Everything) is the main page for your models drivers. It asks you to choose your os, but only gives you the choice of ME/200/XP No 98.

thanks howard - i googled it and found an older version.

now i cannot get my dvd or music cds to play... though cdroms work...
