After all rumours regarding an early/late release of the Athlon 64, the real date has been confirmed today after a press release schedule was accidentally made public in a mass e-mail revealing that this September 22nd has been set for the unveiling of the Athlon64 for desktops and the Athlon64-M for notebooks.
