Flash Player on LInux

I'm running linux right now, and I'm having trouble.
The thing is, that i installed flash player 7 right now, and tried going onto sites that use flash player.
The flash player would sometimes leave things out, like text.
This problem seems to be isolated in my linux OS, and not my other OS's.
It's also very annoying.
Thanks to anyone who can help.

What sites are these? Could it be that they require Flash 8 or 9?

I tried looking at some videos on google, and at the end of the videos, there are these three boxes.
I cannot see what they say.
It does not require a newer version, becasue i download the version that firefox tells me to.
My guess is that it might be the OS's falt.
Sorry, i have not downloaded flash player 9 yet, but might soon.

You don't get a newer version from FF because there isn't one. V9 is still in beta and not officially suppoted by anything. Version 7 is the "latest" for Linux.

So, What do i do in order to get the words on the screen?
Do you have the same problem with your flash player on fire fox?

No, the sites I visit work fine with Linux flash V7.

I broke my crystal ball, so I can't really test with your sites. Maybe if you took the time and told us exactly which sites and flash animations are broken for you..

Here's one:

And, the linux that i'm using, is on a live cd.

It might be a bit difficult to fix Flash or any other browser plugins on a live CD.

Google Videos work fine here in Fedora Core 6, Firefox 2.0 & a lot of plugins for it.

However, I'm not sure if that kind of Flash things require more than just Flash, they might need some kind of video plugins too.
