What do have running in the background? Have you scanned for ad/spyware or virus? Do you have Windows on auto update or any other item on autoupdate?

Press Ctrl + alt + delete and press Processes then shut down some extra resources you dont need while playing games ( Like MSN, Itunes or something else stupid and uses all your resources )

but when you are shutting off resources DO NOT turn off anything in System, Local Service, Network service or Taskmgr.exe or Explorer.exe because it will mess up your computer

A easy way to organize your processes is press "User name" and organize it from Owner down

Also check what Tyler said about adware / spyware

Also go here http://www.pcpitstop.com it will also tell you what you are running and give you an overall systems checklist on fast your pc is. There is no ad/spware and it is free. I run this all the time

Amm, i'm not running MSN and those kind of things wile playing.
I don't think it does such a big different because my speed is 2m
Any ways, my brother here using sometimes emule, so i guess its really raise up my ping, but even when he doesn't, its 100-200.
About the spyware, i will check it and come back with an answer.
About that web, I didn't got the point of it, i need to download something, where?

*edit*
So, I just scanned my computer and I have found 14 spy wares!!!
So i deleted them, and tomorrow I will check my ping at CSS (its kind of late right now here) and come back with the results ;)

Spybot - Search & destroy is actualy a pretty good program
I also recommend getting: AVG Anti-Spyware, CCleaner, avast! antivirus, Sunbelt Kerio Personal Firewall, Ad-aware SE personal

They are the best programs out there and all are free! AVG has a 30 day trial and after that it will still run perfectly but a few features will go off like Autoscan and autoupdate ( you can just rightclick and do this manualy =P )

Hope I helped and good luck getting the Ping down on CS!

OK, i'll try those programs out.
Thank you for helping me and everything.

Still, I'm not sure that spywares/viruses are the main problem....

If anyone else have an idia, i'm open to everything. (well, viruses not XD)
And remember guys, i using router if its matter....

I use router when I play CS and only get about 50-80ping so maybe it's the server you connect to?

CaRD
