My bro is going to New York next week on business, and as far as i know PS3's over there will be cheaper than ones in the UK when they come out. I'd just like to know if the PS3 is region free. I remember Sony saying it was, but that was back in March. I thought teh reason for the European delay was due to Pal versions of Blu-Ray players mucking up. So, is the PS3 region free? If He got 2 over there, would it play games from the UK fine?

from memory i think all the games are, but the dvds and stuff arnt. look it up in google or something im sure ull find it
