Hello everyone, I have a HP Pavilion a630n computer. I bought it about 3 years ago. Recently I have encountered this problem where one of my computer fans becomes really loud for a short period of time (~5 mins) and then stops for a few mins while I'm playing World of Warcarft or Counterstrike. If the game is minimized, I don't get this problem at all. I've never had this problem before so I have no idea what to do.
CPU Temp. - 62 degrees C / 143.5 F
CPU Fan Speed - ~1928 RPM
System Fan Speed - ~788 RPM

I have a Intel Pentium 4 2.8 ghz Processor

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ahh im rocking same system, with just a new case. I have a350y base with 2.8HT proc. If you havent, buy a can of air, and use it on anyparts inside your computer that appear to be coated with dust, a vacum works good too, to remove big clobs of dust. Also you should replace your fans, one is a 90mm, and the other is a 40mm, dont quote me, i might be wrong.
