I don't recall Quicktime being the default for watching you tube videos and such but now it is, but it keeps showing a torn page so I can't watch anything on the web pages I go to. How do I change this? I thought the macromedia flash player or media player was supposed to be running these videos... I've tried and tried but all I get is the quicktime torn page thing for every audio/video thing on the web now...(even for the ads here)-.-

do you know how to change your quicktime "mime settings?" open the quicktime control panel in control panels or wherever it is, and go to the tab that has the mime settings. just uncheck everything for now and see if your videos and stuff work again. hope this helps. good luck!
