Dutch Group retract on claims against Epson

A few weeks back, the Dutch Consumer Association issued a statement suggesting a boycott of Epson products after a study (see: "'Raw deal' on printer ink (http://www.techspot.com/vb/showthread.php?threadid=6222&highlight=printer)") that suggested Epson was forcing people to throw out cartridges still full of ink. Now, however, the Dutch Consumer Associations says they've changed their mind, and that Epson has convinced them they're doing nothing wrong.

I have an epson c62 printer and it says that the black cartdige is less than 5% full and it refuses to print. Is there any way to bypass the printer software so that it prints until the cartdige is completly empty?
