I am new to techspot an to pc's. I would appreciate it if someone would help me with a cleanup

he is spot on about these! remove them first via 'add or remove programmes'.

Go HERE to start the clean-up.

it is important to follow all the instructions. after the clean-up, post a fresh HJT for inspection so that a clean pc can be confirmed, or not as the case may be!!
