I can open it all day long, but can't actually download it.

Want to put it on my flash drive and show it to a buddy at
work - the system at works blocks it.

I've got VideoDownloader and ConvertMovie, but neither will do it.

I'm sure there's something out there!

Umm.. Right click on that link and save target as.

Yes you'll have to save target as .swf but to play it on the system you are going to show it on you'll need Flash installed on it so you can view the .swf file ;)

But there's a problem with that -
on that particular site, the "Save Target As"
option isn't available / doesn't show up.

the only option is "Save Page As" which only
saves the link.

It's probly cuz the site doesn't want their
things downloaded.

Kind of like on You Tube where you need something
like VideoDownloader to actually download and
save the video clip on your computer.

Doesn't matter on that site. You have the link right there in your post. Just right click on that. Also if you want you can figure out what the link is and make an html file directing to those links, open your created html and right click -> save as.

and don't forget some SWF link to other SWF files
so when viewed you need a net connection and or referring link back to site
the big boys make some complicated flash media no S***T
