If you're looking for AntiVirus, go with AVG from grisoft.com (http://grisoft.com) (or free.grisoft.com (http://free.grisoft.com) for the free version). For antispyware/malware, get Spybot Search & Destroy and Ad-Aware SE Personal. For other utilities, your guess is as good as mine ;)
