windows explorer problem

HELP! I am having problems with my windows explorer. everytime i open my any file with microsoft, i'm receiving an error.( Appname: explorer.exe Appver:6.0.2900.2180 Modname: browseui.dll ) I have tried sorts of troubleshoots, but to no avail. I would really appreciate an advice. Thanks a bunch!

Try to scan your computer for a virus. If it doesn't work in the normal mode, try it in safe mode.
