cant install aMSN in linux

when ever i type ./configure i get a message saying

checking for prefix by checking for wish... /usr/bin/wish
checking for gcc... no
checking for cc... no
checking for cc... no
checking for cl... no
configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH
See `config.log' for more details.


how do i fix this?

Or, just use the autopackaged binary or your distro-specific package instead of compiling from source.
