A problem with a SD card for a PDA

My father bought a new PDA (ASUS 639) and a 2G SD KingStone card for the PDA.
HE plugged the card to the PDA and it worked perfectly, but whnever he tries to plug the card to a computer for putting files on it, the computer gives a message that he's recognizing it, but when we try to open the SD drive it just get stuck for a couple of moments and than tells us two options:
sometimes it is telling us that there's no card in the reader, and sometimes it tells us this message: "Disk in drive <X> is not formatted" and if we would like to format it. but when I try to formt it it tells me it's unable to format.

p.s:
Yes, we checked if the Lock-mode is on...

help? =|

i'm not sure why your card reader won't recognize the card, but you can easily put files on the card through activesync. once "connected" (via USB, wifi, bluetooth, etc.), click the "explore" button > mobile device > storage card

cheers

in wikipedia there's some says that SD cards form 2GB onwards have different block length. some readers need to be updated before they could read the card. you might see HERE (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital_card)
