I want to delete a couple photos in my gallery. I was looking for the option but couldn't find it. Can someone help me out?

Not sure you can. But if you shoot me a PM with the links I can remove them.

out of curiosity, why is there no option [for the original uploader] to delete them?

Probably admin. I imagine its the same reason you can't delete a post. But currently if a member wants one removed it is real easy for a mod to do, there is a box that really stands out labeled in bold I believe called "Delete Photo?", just click it and then the delete button and its gone.
