macx 03-31-2007, 01:51 PM I don't use it - all it does is take up more space on my screen. Then I have to go back and "clear from bar" - I just want to be rid of it - but how? I don't have the "always show the tab bar" selected in tools Thanks! Goalie 03-31-2007, 03:08 PM How about don't use it? Don't open things in new tabs, uncheck all options to open new links, etc in new tabs, and use ctrl-n instead of ctrl-t when opening a blank? Or.. you could use IE6 Ad 03-31-2007, 03:08 PM jobeard 03-31-2007, 04:01 PM tools->options->tabs and click the first radio button (open new window) macx 03-31-2007, 04:02 PM That's what I'm asking - how to stop it. I've unchecked everything I can find about it - so where do I all look? And I do have that first button (open new window) checked And don't even MENTION ie! jobeard 03-31-2007, 04:11 PM a little testie are we? Can you provide your FF version?
