openSUSE graphics + mouse

I recently installed openSUSE 10.2, and had 2 problems. The first was the choppy graphics display, which I solved by changing the setting to 16-bit (from 24-bit).

The second is still there, and I haven't found any solutions so far. The mouse is there and working (I can open/close windows, scroll screens, and do everything normally) but it is invisible!!! I can't see it, and that is making life very difficult. The mouse is attached to a PS/2 port, but I've tried a USB mouse with no improvement.

P.S. I am running KDE

You need to install the latest drivers for your graphics card to get rid of the stuttering.

For the mouse you need to read this thread HERE. (http://www.techspot.com/vb/showthread.php?t=57747&highlight=invisible+cursor+mouse)
