you would think microsoft would make an effort to make a service pack soon but I think youll have to wait until august or something for the first service pack. If you want SLi just use Linux or WinXP! check out ---www.lost.eu/42bbb---

Vista sli drivers have been out for a while.

The most current are these. http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x86_158.18.html

Supports 6/7/8 series dx9 and open gl sli, but no dx10 sli yet.

I haven't tried sli on vista so I don't know how buggy it is.

I have gone back to XP after being a fool and trying Vista nice and early. With a GeForce 7 series SLi setup i would get scores of around 4500 with 3dMark05 and with XP i get the full 7600 as expected from my cards. The Vista ForceWare drivers that support may make the system run (fairly) stable but they just don't give you the performance the cards deserve.

This, the Media Centre playing up and the Samsung MagicTune software crashing my system are the reasons I went back to XP but on the whole Vista is a nice package that will (hopefully) be a great package after SP1

Why were we discussing this, Vista should be banned from these boards until service pack 1 is available
