display driver stopped responding...

i keep getting this error, your display driver stopped responding and has recovered
display driver nvlddmkm stoppd responding and has successfully recovered.

, im running windows ultimate vista on a 8800gts xpertvison, the driver disc i got wif my card only supports xp, so i went on nvidia.com and got the 8800gts for vista 32mb, but i keep getting this error.

Note: before you do anything, check the date on the driver to ensure it is indeed an older one.

it isnt an older one, its the newest one out i got it from nvidia website :S
the one on the disk i got wif it is only for xp (yet it says on it vista ready) WDF! LOL
