Yeah umm so my free trial for ultramon ran flat on me. Does anyone know of any good or decent free software for dual monitors.

What are you wanting to do? I've been running duals for a few years now and never had any thoughts that they needed to do more.

extend my task bar, I like the features that ultramon had, it put new features on your web browsers next to minimize, you could extend the browser across 2 screens in one click, also send the browser to the other monitor, one click of a button.

there is an excellent program yes pc prog which can transform 1 pc montiro into 2 using another pc or laptop with screen, it's called MaxiVista and it uses ethernet cabling for dual monitors
