its on ebay and the seller have great feedback but they dont give much info on the ram. this is all the info they put on it.

* 1024mb PC3200 DDR at 400 MHz

* backward compatible to PC2100 and PC2700

* 184 pin Dimm, 128Mx64 (128x4) High Density chips.

* (ONE module) of 1024mb (1 GB)

* Non ECC, Unbuffered, Non registered

* Brand new and First Quality

should i buy it

Hmm

Chance are that is probably a pull from a HP or Dell or similar OEM brand. It is probably worth $40 but dont be expecting to get a stick of Corsair XMS with
2-2-2-4 timing or anything.

then if you know about ram, you'll know what's worth.
whether or not you can trust an ebay seller is anyone's gamble.

well the ram i got now in my pc is 1 gig stick of pc2100 Crucial and i only payed $5 for it on ebay

yeah definatly ask the seller if it is compadible with your CHIPSET i bought 2 gigs off ebay and it didn't work on my computer but it did on an older one. btw i bought Samsung PC3200 DDR400. Nothing bad about the ram, but really before buying it check and ask if it works on your computer dun make the mistake i did.

as a very experienced ebay user both buying and selling, you better do your homework first. A lot of sellers on ebay don't know jack about computers and vice versa.
