Trouble using a usb2.0 flashdrive in a usb1.0 port

Hi

I just bought a new no-name 2Gb usb2.0 flashdrive and I am having trouble copying files onto it using the usb1.0 port on my home computer. The files seem transfer okay, but won't open. Windows Picture and Fax Viewer gives me a 'drawing failed' error message. If I use ACDSee to try and view them only a small strip of the image shows up. BTW I am correctly stopping the device before I remove it from the port.

However if I use the flashdrive at work, it seems to work perfectly.

Is this a driver issue on my PC? Should I look at updating the driver?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Warik

The flashdrive works fine on the pc's at work which have usb2.0 ports. The problem is I need to have the flashdrive work on my usb1.0 port at home. Is there any easy solution?
