Norton Ghost

Hi, I am sort of new to image ghosting especially over networking. I had 3 computers (which has the same spec built, with no CD-ROM) and would like to use ghost over network instead of ghosting computer one by one. Can anyone give me the very basic yet informative walkthrough info of where I'm about to go? (Norton Ghost v10 is what I'm using)

Read the Norton Ghost 10 manual very carefull, and be sure you understand everything it tells you.
I would not attempt what you are doing. Ghosting to a CD or to a drive connected on the same computer or via USB is a better choice.
Better yet, use Acronis software www.acronis.com

I agree with Ray on both points. Image each comp manually rather than over the network. It's more manual but you're sure it's done properly. Plus, I would use a *BIG* external harddrive for storing images (at least 250GB, 1 TB is best!) Plus, Acronis True Image is much more intelligently designed than Norton Ghost. Strangely, Acronis is less than half the price of Ghost!
