Japanese videogame maker Nintendo warned on Friday it would post its first-ever interim loss (http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=topNews&storyID=3552710) for April-September due to massive foreign exchange losses and slack sales of its GameCube console.
The videogame veteran attributed its first red ink since going public in 1962 to a 40 billion yen one-off loss on its $5 billion of dollar-denominated assets and weak demand for the GameCube.
