need help to install linux

hi, ive down loaded the ubuntu version of linux. ive put it on to a disk and thats about it, if someone could tell me where to go from that id highly appreciate it.

If you burnt the ISO image to a CD so that it actually contains all the files instead of just the image, just set your computer to boot from CD first (from BIOS settings) and enjoy.
