im here trying to write an iso to a dvd wich i already have done but this time magic iso tells me its too big for the dvd. so im here pulling my hair out wondering why. im about to go get double layer but, im still wont answer the question why wont this thing fit when it has before!

Don't know, I ran into the same issue with a dvd backup. It spit out 2 DVD+R disks saying they weren't large enough, so I tossed in a DVD-R and it worked fine. Try that.

Reboot the system and try it again..

ultra dvd did the trick oh well another day another buck but if anyone knows what the very best in iso software give me some names

use a program like roxio. Sometimes the basic write programs don't read the capacities of this disk correctly. I ran into this a few days ago and roxio classic worked but drag to disc did not.
