Laptop loud fan

A laptop suddenly started having a loud fan. Is this a common problem on Dell Inspirion 9300? How can I fix it? Is this repairable by Dell warranty?
 
Yes you can send it back to tell and they'll replace the fan or you can order the fan and do it yourself if you know what you're doing?
