I just repaced my laptop battery with a new replacement battery. It charges upto 18%. I have tried updating the bios as well. Can this problem be fixed?

Can this problem be fixed? lamo 08-01-2007, 07:54 PM disable all alarms in power management in windows and let the battery completely discharges. after this procedure - completely charge the battery. if it will show 18% again - return the battery to store.
